How we teach #
Every child is unique in learning history, interests, and personality. Many children are gifted, have learning challenges, or demonstrate characteristics that require a different path to success. We offer small group learning intervention groups for students in preschool through eighth grade, and some options for high school learners depending on the exceptionality. Response to Intervention (RTI)
We begin by pinpointing missing links and building the foundational pathways your learner needs. Instruction is delivered in short, intense bursts to keep engagement high, with processing time before the next burst.

Curriculum, consultation, and assessment #
- Consultation – We can meet with you to learn about your child’s situation and talk through options. We collaborate with teachers, parents, and children to find the best path.
- Assessment – After an initial consult, we offer targeted assessments across one or more subjects to create a clear plan of action. We follow up with a post-consult to review strengths, challenges, and a plan that can be applied in the child’s current environment or within our space.
- One-on-one remedial or gifted work – Every family situation is treated on a case-by-case basis. We offer flexible scheduling based on availability and focus on skills your child can take into life and any classroom.
- Small group instruction – Our homeschool-hybrid model currently runs in the mornings for 3–4 hours. Groups can focus on a single subject (like writing) or integrate multiple subjects through our learning techniques. Times and days are based on group needs, and afternoon groups may become available when there is demand. Arizona law requires homeschooled children to receive 50% of instruction from their parents (this does not apply to ESA students).
